ABOUT US
LVD is a vintage dance group based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Members meet to learn and perform 19th century dances including English contra dances and Scottish and Irish jigs and reels. In addition to regularly scheduled costume balls, the group also performs at area antebellum homes, living history events and nursing homes.

Louisiane Vintage Dancers currently holds classes in Baton Rouge
as follows:

Tuesdays 7:00 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. at Church of the Way Presbyterian in Baton Rouge (250 S. Foster Dr., Baton Rouge).

Directions: FROM New Orleans/Denham Springs/ Hammond - Get on
I-10 West towards Lafayette - Exit at College Dr - go Right - at the third traffic light (S Foster Dr) turn Left (Webb Park Golf Course will be on your left) - continue on S Foster and cross Government St - the church is three buildings up on the Left, just past the YMCA.

FROM Lafayette/Zachary/Baker - Get on I-10 East towards Baton Rouge - Exit at Acadian Thruway - turn Left under the interstate overpass - at the third? traffic light (Government St) turn Right - turn Left onto S Foster Dr (Albertsons is on your Left, Jack in the Box on the Right) - the church is the third building on the Left, just past the YMCA.

Dress is casual.

The first class attended is free of charge. Subsequent classes are two dollars ($2) per class. Lower rates are available to individuals and families who join LVD  and pay on a monthly basis.
